Instructions
Cut 5” x 7” blue background card front and ink edges.
Cut tree branches from brown paper; ink edges and adhere to left side of card Glue Glider Pro. Trim off any excess branches from edges.
Cut and paper piece bird shape, wings and beak from red and black cardstock and patterned paper. Adhere pieces together with Glue Glider Pro and use black mini brad for the cardinal’s eye. Then adhere to tree branch as shown.
Punch/cut leaves from green cardstock; ink edges and adhere to branches with Glue Glider Pro.
Punch small circles from red cardstock; ink edges and adhere berries near leaves.
Print or write sentiment on white cardstock; trim and adhere to center of red ribbon. Attach silver micro brads at each end of cardstock strip.
Trim ribbon ends with scissors.
Apply Spooled Ribbon Adhesive to back of ribbon; fold and shape and adhere to bottom of card front.
Notes: I found to use the ¼” Perma Tac Adhesive perfect for this type of paper piecing project that involved both small and larger shapes. It’s an ideal adhesive in how easy it is to adjust the much of adhesive I need to apply each time.
