Instructions:
-
With the long edge of the paper facing you, score the 6x10.5 inch piece at 2”, 5”, 7”, and 10”. Crease along the folds with a bone folder and run adhesive along the 1/2” section using the Glue Glider Pro. Attach this flap to the inside of the body of the box.
- On each of the smaller pieces of paper, score 1.5” inches in from each edge. Snip along one of the score lines in each corner using scissors (this will create flaps to fold in to make the lid and bottom). Fold along the score lines and crease with the bone folder. Punch along the edges with a border punch if desired. Use the Glue Glider Pro or Glue Arts Adhesive Squares to attach the flaps to the inside of the lid. (If you’ve used a border punch, you may want to trim away the parts of the flaps that overlap and may show).
- Use the Glue Glider Pro or the Glue Arts Adhesive Squares to attach the base to the box body.
- Attach ribbon to the box top and bottom using Glue Arts Ribbon Adhesive.
- Poke a hole in the lid and run a loop of ribbon through the top, securing inside with a knot and Glue Arts Adhesive Squares.
- Embellish box as desired.
Suggestions: Use as a party favor box, to hold a gift for a teacher, or to use as a thank you gift. To make a taller box, just increase the height of the 6x10.5 inch piece of paper on the 6 inch side.
