Steps

  1. Build your first layer of leaves on the wreath form using Glue Arts Adhesive Squares to attach the leaves. Turn them in varying directions as you go.
  2. Use leaves without any plastic backing to make glittered leaves to accent the wreath: Peel the backing off the sheet of Glue Arts Vellum adhesive. Press the adhesive onto the leaf you want to glitter and burnish well. Peel the sheet of the leaf (leaving the adhesive behind) and sprinkle glitter on the leaf. Do this for as many leaves as you would like to have glittery accents. Use different colors on the leaves for more interest.
  3. For the second layer of the wreath, use the garland stems by simply laying them around the wreath and use the glue gun to attach them.
  4. Begin adding another layer of leaves to your wreath. For this layer tuck leaves under and over the garland layer because it adds more dimension. Use both the Glue Arts Adhesive Squares and the glue gun (if necessary) for this step.
  5. Lay out your remaining decorations on the wreath to plan out placement before attaching them. Attach the glittered leaves first, then pieces of the beaded garland, adding the little pumpkins on last. Use the Glue Arts Adhesive Squares for this step, and the glue gun for any especially heavy pieces.
  6. Use the ribbon to make a bow for the wreath and attach it using floral wire.
